Maybe Tomorrow..................................................

Since last you heard I was in Edmonton at Adam's Apartment. Since then, I have been around but find myself back in front of his graciously provided laptop.
My last post was cut short, because Gerry, Jean and Judi were coming in the door. We ate, drank and were merry. It was good. I left for Athabasa with them that afternoon, where I stayed for several weeks. It was a prolonged highlight of my trip. I hadn't beore then much of a chance to hang with Jean or Gerry [ and found them to be very cool, for old people. :) ] but Judi and I got along famously, as always. I discovered some hidden relics of my father's past, which I will not be posting here as a kindness to him. Most notable of these is a picture of a mountain moonscape; it haunts me still.
I was really enjoying my time in Athabasca. I enjoyed the comfort of living in a world I understood. I wasn't in over my head at all.
So I left.
I started work at a dinner-theatre in Edmonton called Jubilations, located in the West Ed. I'm also exploring other options of employment on the side. I'm learning to live in a city. We'll see how it goes.
I'm scared of it all, God's truth! so I am;
It's too big and brutal for me.
My nerve's on the raw and I don't give a damn
For all the "hoorah" that I see.
I'm pinned between subway and overhead train,
Where automobillies swoop down:
Oh, I want to go back to the timber again --
I'm scared of the terrible town.

And im gone again...................................................
I am now, offiially in Edmonton. I am currently using my cousin Adam's laptop in his appartment. Just spent the night n his floor, which he so kindly provided. I am, so far enjoying my tiime in Edmonton- Adam's a cool guy and this is a cool town. I would like also to state also that never have I seen such an obscene explosion of obese consumerism at the West Edmonton Mall. Wow.
It took a long time to get here and I will tell you all of my exploits later-For now the Keefesess are here and thanksgiving dinner has arrived in tupperware.
We'll be in touch.

Can't stay for long, just moving on.............................

Ok, so where have I been?
Today is the sixth, Last anyone heard I was in Stratford, ON. I left there on the 3 ( I think) for a night time bus westward across Ontario. I had to stop in the Toronto bus station for an hour, though, just because Toronto is a vortex that sucks all travel routes for a 200km radius into it's ugly urban bulk. But it's not so bad.
After a very long bus ride across Ontario-a very long bus ride-with a cool bus friend named Dave, I arrived in Winnepeg yesterday morning. Walked around downtown Winnepeg for sseveral hours, and eventually came across a hostel. I checked in around noon and slept for six hours. Winnepeg is a cool town, there seems to ba a lot to do there-not that I did much of it, as I spent my time exploring-as I found out when I resumed my exploration.
I caught the 1:00 bus to Brandon, and got here at 3:30. I walked around for a while trying to find where Holly (cousin) works. I guess today is her day off though, so that was a no-go.
Currently, I'm in a library in Brandon with no way to reach Holly that I know of, so I'm off again, possibly to Regina (giggle).
May try for Athabasca by thanksgiving.
Much love to all

Every stop I make, I make a new friend..............................
Essentially I stayed at the Evanses for two days and chilled with Bob n Phil (Nathan was away with Fraser at a scout camp). Good, wholesome, relaxing time spent destroying a myriad of unnatural (evil) digital forces.
Yesterday (1st October) I made the trip from Binbrook to Stratford, not by bus, but by Lee Bartley. (For any of you who may not know, she is Robert Crossley's Mother. And is a wonderful lady). So that is big check for Mitch and one more day spent without having to deal with Greyhound.
Think I might be leaving here on the third, during the day- So I will have one week to get out west.
