Maybe Tomorrow..................................................

Since last you heard I was in Edmonton at Adam's Apartment. Since then, I have been around but find myself back in front of his graciously provided laptop.
My last post was cut short, because Gerry, Jean and Judi were coming in the door. We ate, drank and were merry. It was good. I left for Athabasa with them that afternoon, where I stayed for several weeks. It was a prolonged highlight of my trip. I hadn't beore then much of a chance to hang with Jean or Gerry [ and found them to be very cool, for old people. :) ] but Judi and I got along famously, as always. I discovered some hidden relics of my father's past, which I will not be posting here as a kindness to him. Most notable of these is a picture of a mountain moonscape; it haunts me still.
I was really enjoying my time in Athabasca. I enjoyed the comfort of living in a world I understood. I wasn't in over my head at all.
So I left.
I started work at a dinner-theatre in Edmonton called Jubilations, located in the West Ed. I'm also exploring other options of employment on the side. I'm learning to live in a city. We'll see how it goes.
I'm scared of it all, God's truth! so I am;
It's too big and brutal for me.
My nerve's on the raw and I don't give a damn
For all the "hoorah" that I see.
I'm pinned between subway and overhead train,
Where automobillies swoop down:
Oh, I want to go back to the timber again --
I'm scared of the terrible town.

Much love to all. -Mitch

Mitch! Is that facial hair I see there under your chin? Sounds like you're having a time, I must say I'm jealous about the dinner theatre thing. Glad to hear you're doing well.

Much love, Karri.
